X-25
Mission: The X-25 was developed in response to a perceived need for an emergency egress system that would permit the pilot discretionary landing options. At one time, a maneuverable, flyable ejection seat using X-25 technology was contemplated. A single McCulloch 4318E air-cooled four-cylinder two-stroke piston engine powered it.
