21 October: Taxi Tests
 Test pilot Tom Morgenfeld puts the JSF X-35A through final taxi tests at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company in Palmdale, California, in preparation for first flight. The Pratt & Whitney-powered aircraft executed taxi tests from low to medium speeds.
