Jean Barbaud is a french aviation illustrator and comics artist,born in 1955, who started to work as a character designer for TV animated cartoons.
He has also been doing a monthly aircraft cartoon for the magazine Fana de l’aviation,since 1983. Most of them,from Spad XIII to F-22, are included in a recent book, "Gueules de Zings",published last year.
He is currently at work on the third volume of his comics Lieutenant Mac Fly: a pilot from a top-secret base,somewhere in the Nevada desert.
