Alex Durr

Alex Durr brings his experience as an aviator for the US Marines to his artistic work. His paintings are on display at the Naval Aviation Museum and at air bases around the world. They have also appeared in Aviation History, Military History Quarterly, and Wings of Gold. "I try to paint in the style and spirit of the western artist Remmington," say Durr, who has been producing aviation art since graduating from Florida State University in 1983. Night Ingress depicts two F-16Cs equipped with LANTIRN systems on a night low-level mission en route to their target. The original hangs in an office at Lockheed Martin TAS in Fort Worth, Texas.
