B. Michael Hecht has exhibited works throughout the United States and Canada and has produced a number of works featuring aircraft from World War I to the present day. This perspective of the F-16 is a dramatic composition of bird and machine. Hecht says the painting was inspired by the beauty, power, and unique hunting techniques of the peregrine falcon – traits shared with its namesake, the F-16 Fighting Falcon.
