SSgt. Bill King

SSgt. Bill King is the graphic illustrator for the USAF Thunderbirds. He has been a member of the Thunderbird team for four years. "My artwork is done in stages," says King. " I do a full value painting in siennas or sepias and then add color over the top, building it up transparently." This painting was used as the team’s 1995 show poster and appeared on air show programs as well.
