Todd Lockwood

Todd Lockwood, a commercial artist from Denver, Colorado, is known for his humorous combinations of nature and technology. F-16 Shark is one of Lockwood’s first undertakings in aviation art. F-16 Shark and F-16 Rhino were done for an international ad campaign for BFGoodrich Aerospace, which produces brakes for the F-16 and for other aircraft. "With F-16 Rhino," says Gus Skalkos, who worked on the advertising campaign, "we wanted to show the power of the aircraft and that BFGoodrich wheels and brakes could stop a fully loaded F-16. F-16 Shark highlights the evolutionary nature of the aircraft and the evolutionary improvements BFGoodrich has made to its braking systems."
