Sharon Rajnus


Sharon Rajnus’ aviation heritage predates World War II with a family involved at Lockheed in California. Her experiences as a pilot also directly influence her work. She does full-time graphic and computer design work as well as landscape and aviation painting. Her illustrations can be found in numerous collections and exhibitions. Capt. Cathy McDonald – Texas ANG is a tribute to one of the first female F-16 pilots, who now flies with the Air National Guard in Houston, Texas. "I met McDonald during her F-16 training at Kingsley Field in Oregon," says Rajnus, an Oregon native. "She is a member of my 99 group, Crater Lake Flyers."
