Design has always been a critical part of Thierry Thompson’s work. "I want the viewer involved, to experience, to relate, and to be moved by the visual," he explains. "I want a gut reaction." His work has adorned the Tom Clancy calendar and has been reproduced in limited print runs. Movers and Shakers was inspired by an aerial refueling experience Thompson thoroughly enjoyed. The painting depicts a USAF F-16 strike package from the 388th Fighter Wing of Hill AFB, Utah, refueling with KC-10A Extenders during Operation Desert Storm.
