The 21st Fighter Squadron consisted of little more than a few abandoned buildings at Arizona’s Luke AFB in the fall of 1996. Today, the unit is recognized as one of the premiere training squadrons in USAF’s Air Education and Training Command.

"We have climbed the learning ladder very fast since receiving the F-16s. ...We are motivated by the notion that we are creating a new operational capability for our nation with the F-16,” Rababah explains.

"The skills our students will learn here may ultimately keep them alive during a conflict," says Maj. Dag Olav Kleppestø, the commanding officer of the 332 Squadron.
