The Air Force's three stealth platforms—an F-117, B-2, and F/A-22—were flown in a unique formation at the start of both the 115th Tournament of Roses Parade and Rose Bowl football game in Pasadena, California, on 1 January. A television audience of about 18 million people watched the game and saw the flyover, which occurred right after the national anthem was played.
