New Software Makes Life Easier For F/A-22 Team

New Software Makes Life Easier For F/A-22 Team The 43rd Fighter Squadron, the Raptor schoolhouse at Tyndall AFB, Florida, will soon be using a new automatic computer software tracking program that checks the progress of F/A-22 students, what stage of training they have completed, and what is scheduled for them next. At the heart of the new system, called the Combat Crew Training Management System, is a room housing two interactive white boards, active plasma display, a bank of computers, flight scheduler function, and data operator. One of the features of the system is that it automatically notes if a pilot needs to reschedule a flight or a simulation training session.
