The 4,300th F-16 fighter built worldwide was delivered on 20 April to Oman under Peace A’sama A’safiyah, or the Clear Skies program. Oman has purchased twelve advanced Block 50 F-16s. In addition to Oman, Lockheed Martin is currently producing F-16 aircraft in Fort Worth, Texas, for Chile, Israel, Poland, and the United Arab Emirates. Twenty-four countries currently fly the F-16. Fourteen repeat customers have ordered more than fifty follow-on F-16 buys.
