 Third Raptor Takes Off
F-22 Raptor 4003, the newest addition to the Air Force’s fleet of next-generation air dominance fighters, took off on its inaugural flight, 6 March from Dobbins ARB, Georgia. With Boeing test pilot Chuck Killberg at the controls, Raptor 4003 was flown to 30,000 feet at speeds greater than 500 miles per hour during its eighty-minute maiden voyage. |
