Several F-16s made appearances at the South African International Air Show last September at Air Force Base Waterfkoof. The aerial shot of a Belgian Air Force F-16 from the 31st Squadron “Tigers” shows Robbin Island in the background and the prison that held Nelson Mandela. A BAF demo pilot won the prize for the best demo, beating the likes of the Eurofighter and Grippen.
