Congratulations to the 159th Tactical Fighter Squadron of the Republic of Korea Air Force. Based at Jungwon AB, Korea, the 159th was named best overall squadron in the Boramae 2000 Aerial Gunnery and Bombing Competition. F-16 Pilot Capt. Lee, Jun Sun, (left) also of the 159th TFS, was named Top Gun Pilot. Capt. Lee has accumulated over 300 hours in the F-16, and has over 800 hours total time in fighter aircraft. Fighter pilots apparently run in the family. Capt. Lee’s father was an F-4 pilot, who retired at the rank of brigadier general. |
