USAF Lt. Col. Dawn Dunlop, director of Operations for the 411th Flight Test Squadron at Edwards AFB, California, became the first female Raptor pilot in late November. She and fellow pilot Maj. Kevin Prosser visited the Lockheed Martin plant in Fort Worth, Texas, and toured the F/A-22 mid fuselage assembly line in October. The two pilots were in Fort Worth for emergency procedures training in the Raptor simulator. Frank Dougherty, director of F/A-22 manufacturing, conducted the tour.
