Raptor 06 was used to successfully complete the first F/A-22 Joint Tactical Information Distribution System interoperability trial with an E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System aircraft at Edwards AFB, California, on 15 November. JTIDS is a secure tactical datalink that provides command, control, and intelligence information via a joint user network to enhance the pilot's situational awareness. The November test demonstrated the Raptor's ability to receive and display a variety of air and ground data tracks.
