Lt. Col. Larry Hill, a C-130 pilot with the 154th Training Squadron at Little Rock AFB, Arkansas, made the final two hours of his 8,700-hour, thirty-four year career special, as he flew with his twin daughters, Capt. Elissa Granderson and Capt. Leslie Hill, who are both C-130 pilots in the 154th. Officials at the base believe it may be the first time a father was accompanied by twin daughters on a final flight. Hill began his flying career in the EC-121 Warning Star radar surveillance aircraft and later transitioned to the KC-135 tanker. He began flying the Hercules in 1986.
