An S-3B painted and marked as a Viking from VS-41, the training squadron at NAS North Island, California, was inducted into the USS Midway (CV-41) floating museum at a ceremony in San Diego harbor on 5 January. Officiating for the Navy was Capt. Greg Labuda, Commander, Sea Control Wing Pacific. Numerous US Navy personnel from North Island represented the base's three S-3B squadrons, the Screwbirds of VS-33, the Blue Wolves of VS-35, and the Shamrocks of VS-41 during the ceremony.
