A fourteen-month-old Iraqi girl left for Iraq on a C-141 StarLifter last fall after receiving six months of life-saving medical treatment at Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Before returning to Iraq, Fatemah Khalil Hassan and her mother were flown to Ramstein AB, Germany, by a crew from the 452nd Air Mobility Wing at March ARB, California, on an aircraft assigned to the 455th Airlift Wing at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The baby was suffering from a dense group of blood vessels that had threatened to restrict her airway.
