Thunderbird For A Day

Matthew LaFontaine had wanted to be a Thunderbird since he was three years old. His wish came true in November, at the grand old age of nine, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron Airmen. Matthew, who suffers from a rare hereditary disorder that produces an excessive amount of kidney stones, was treated to a Thunderbird practice session. He and his family met with the team's officers in their hangar at Nellis AFB, Nevada.
