Operation Lifeline Milestone

Operation Lifeline Milestone A crew from the 124th Wing, the Idaho Air National Guard unit at the Boise Air Terminal, became the 250th Air Force aircraft to land in Pakistan 29 November to support Operation Lifeline, the humanitarian relief mission providing aid to the people affected by a 7.6 magnitude earthquake in October. The Idaho Guard C-130H arrived at Chaklala AB carrying five pallets of medical supplies and other humanitarian relief materials. Since operations began, nearly 14.5 million pounds of humanitarian cargo, including more than 7,200 boxes of food, 2,200 boxes of medicine, 1,500 boxes of water, 12,000 boxes of blankets, 4,600 sleeping bags, and 4,500 tents, have arrived in Pakistan. Operations there continue.
