An Air Force Reserve Command crew from the 709th Airlift Squadron at Dover AFB, Delaware, prepares to load this last F-14 Tomcat fighter from Fighter Squadron 31 (VF-31) into position on board a C-5 Galaxy at NAS Oceana, Virginia. Using an electronic winching system, the Tomcat was maneuvered into place on the C-5 on 4 February. The crew then transported the Tomcat to its new home at the OV-10 Bronco Museum in Fort Worth, Texas. This F-14D, nicknamed Christine, was the longest-serving Tomcat in the fleet.
