Raptor 4002 accomplished another significant program achievement in March when it became the first F-22 to fly 200 sorties. This achievement came as the program secured approximately $674.5 million to continue development, assembly, and testing through the end of fiscal year 2001. Five F-22s reside at Edwards, all involved in the flight test program. The remaining four Engineering and Manufacturing Development Raptors are scheduled to join the test fleet by the end of 2001.Back to Events Index
