Lt. Col. Tseng, the ROCAF deputy squadron commander for the 4th Fighter Group of the 454th Wing, achieved the distinction in March of becoming the first ROCAF pilot to log 1,000 F-16 flying hours. Tseng has flown almost 3,000 hours in a variety of military aircraft, including the T-34, T-33, T-38, F-5, IDF, and F-16. He was one of the first ROCAF pilots to receive F-16 transition training in 1996. I am proud to become the first pilot of the ROCAF who reached the 1,000-hour F-16 milestone, said Tseng. It is only made possible with the cooperation of airman, service personnel, and the ROCAF chain of command. |
