Taiwan F-16 Pilot Logs 1,000 Hours

Taiwan F-16 Pilot Logs 1,000 HoursLt. Col. Tseng, the ROCAF deputy squadron commander for the 4th Fighter Group of the 454th Wing, achieved the distinction in March of becoming the first ROCAF pilot to log 1,000 F-16 flying hours. Tseng has flown almost 3,000 hours in a variety of military aircraft, including the T-34, T-33, T-38, F-5, IDF, and F-16. He was one of the first ROCAF pilots to receive F-16 transition training in 1996. “I am proud to become the first pilot of the ROCAF who reached the 1,000-hour F-16 milestone,” said Tseng. “It is only made possible with the cooperation of airman, service personnel, and the ROCAF chain of command.”
