F-22 Gets Hot/Cold Reception At Eglin

One of the seven F-22 Raptors in flight status is being tested at extreme temperatures and conditions inside the climatic hangar at McKinley Climatic Laboratory at Eglin AFB, Florida. The lab will simulate weather conditions far beyond those the aircraft will likely encounter. The test temperatures will range between minus sixty-five degrees to plus 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Conditions will also include rain and snow. The jet will reside in the climatic hangar through mid-August.
