F/A-22 Bulkhead Signing

Members of the 1st FW F/A-22 Integration Office from Langley AFB, Virginia, visited Fort Worth in May to put their signatures on the midsection of their first Raptor. The aircraft, the first of a full wing of seventy-two Raptors, is slated for delivery to Langley in late 2004. The 1st FW will be the first combat-coded Raptor unit in the Air Force. The visiting group also toured the F/A-22 and F-16 production areas, was briefed on various Raptor systems, and flew the F/A-22 simulator. |
