Two additional F/A-22s were delivered to the Air Force’s 422nd Test and Evaluation Squadron at Nellis AFB, Nevada, in May. Raptor 13 was ferried from the Lockheed Martin facility in Marietta, Georgia, on 12 May, and Raptor 14 arrived at the base outside Las Vegas on 29 May. Air Force Lt. Col. Dave “Logger” Rose ferried both aircraft. The 422nd TES, which is charged with developing combat tactics for the Raptor, will receive three more Raptors later this year.Back to Events Index
