Raptor 09, the last of four F/A-22s modified by Lockheed Martin at its Palmdale, California, facility, was returned to service at nearby Edwards AFB on 31 March. To prepare for the upcoming dedicated initial operational test and evaluation phase in which operational pilots will evaluate the F/A-22’s combat capabilities, Raptors 08 through 11 now all reflect the F/A-22’s production configuration.Back to Events Index
