Super Hercules 150

Kolligian Jr. Trophy The 150th C-130J Super Hercules built to date was delivered on 8 May. The milestone aircraft is the eighth and final C-130J assigned to the 146th Airlift Wing, the California Air National Guard unit at Channel Islands ANGB near Oxnard. The aircraft was flown to California by Brig. Gen. Darren McDew, vice commander of the 18th Air Force. The 146th recently returned from a twenty-month deployment to Iraq where its Super Hercules aircraft were used as part of a joint force deployment for intratheater operations. During the deployment, four
C-130Js were flown on 5,444 sorties totaling 10,750 flight hours. The aircraft delivered more than 12,500 tons of cargo and carried more than 70,000 passengers.
