An F-16 Fighting Falcon from Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, patrols the no-fly zone in support of Operation Northern Watch. The aircraft, assigned to the 77th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, was part of an air and space expeditionary force deployment package. The unit spent the ninety-day rotation protecting other aircraft and enforcing the no-fly zone over Northern Iraq.Back To Events Index
