| Aviano Hosts 11 September Survivors |
|
 Chaperones from the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association of New York City along with eighty children visited Aviano AB, Italy, this summer for a close-up look at the F-16 Fighting Falcon. The children were in Italy and Austria at the invitation of the Italian and Austrian governments who wanted to do something special for the children of victims who lost their lives in the 11 September tragedy. Both F-16 fighter squadrons at Aviano set up special static displays. Volunteers ensured the children got the most out of their visit. |
