The mid-fuselage of Raptor 41 is loaded into a new mate fixture at Lockheed Martin’s Fort Worth, Texas, facility. With the improved fixture, an opportunity identified through current lean initiatives and funded by the successful Producibility Investment Program within the F/A-22, loading three modules required only three hours instead of two days using the old fixture. Raptor 41, the first operational F/A-22, will be assigned to Langley AFB, Virginia.Back To Events Index
