Soldiers from the 3rd Battalion, the Royal Australian Regiment, exit a C-130J Hercules during a parachute insertion exercise near Queensland during the Crocodile 2003 exercise in September. A combined force of approximately 10,000 troops from Australia and the United States participated in the exercise. The exercise trains forces from US Pacific Command and Australia in the planning and implementation of a combined Australia-US operation.Back To Events Index
