Triple Nickels In Sweden

Members of the 555th Fighter Squadron and 31st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron from Aviano AB, Italy, wrapped up two weeks of joint air-to-air and air-to-ground exercises with members of the Swedish Air Force at Kallax AB, Sweden, on 13 August 2010. During the training, US Airmen worked side-by-side with their Swedish allies to conduct more than 180 sorties. The US F-16s and the Swedish Gripen fighters were launched twice daily during the exercise. The missions included air combat engagements as well as low level flying and dropping practice munitions on an instrumented bombing range.
