Two F-16 test pilots from the 416th Flight Test Squadron at Edwards AFB, California, provided high angle of attack academics to USAFE pilots at two bases in Europe. Maj. Raven LeClair, 416th FLTS assistant director of operations, and Capt. Michael Pacini, 416th FLTS F-16 test pilot, went to Aviano AB, Italy, and Spangdahlem AB, Germany, to train thirty-five F-16 pilots on how to avoid departing their aircraft from controlled flight. The 416th FLTS does the High AOA mission on a continual basis and has a program that has been conducted for many years to train F-16 pilots from around the world.
