A Royal Australian Air Force C-130J and an Indonesian Air Force (Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Udara or TNI-AU) C-130H are shown on their parking spots during Exercise Rajawali Ausindo 12, a joint C-130 airlift exercise held at Abdul Rachman Saleh AB, in the East Javanese city of Malang, on 17-22 September 2012. This exercise is designed to improve joint procedures in cases where both countries are called on to provide coordinated humanitarian and disaster relief operations. The exercise also gives RAAF crews experience operating in Indonesian airspace. The exercise was hosted by TNI-AU 32 Squadron. The deployed RAAF crew is assigned to 37 Squadron at RAAF Richmond, outside of Sydney.
