US Naval Aviators from Strike Fighter Squadron 101 (VFA-101), known as the Grim Reapers and homeported at Eglin AFB, Florida, visited NAS Fallon, Nevada, on 3 September 2015. This evolution is part of a twelve-day VFA-101 detachment focused on the integration of F-35C with the Fallon Range Training Complex. This visit will also allow coordination among VFA-101 and the Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center at Fallon to refine tactics, techniques and procedures of the F-35C as it prepares to join the carrier air wing.
