Rolling In The Riverine

Sailors assigned to Riverine Squadron 2 (RIVRON 2) load a riverine command boat into an Air Force C-5A Galaxy transport aircraft at Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia, on 25 February 2012. The riverine command boat will be delivered to Bahrain to be used in the US 5th Fleet area of responsibility. This is believed to be the first time a riverine command boat has been transported in a C-5 Galaxy. The aircraft was recently transferred to the 167th Airlift Wing, the West Virginia Air National Guard unit at Martinsburg.
