Seventh MC-130J Delivered to Cannon

The seventh MC-130J Commando II Special Operations tanker was delivered from the Lockheed Martin facility in Marietta, Georgia, to Cannon AFB, New Mexico, on 20 June 2012. The aircraft (Air Force serial number 08-6205) is one of eleven MC-130Js that will be assigned to the 522nd Special Operations Squadron at the base near Clovis. The squadron operates the Commando II on missions such as inflight refueling, infiltration and exfiltration, and aerial delivery and resupply of Special Operations forces.
