Seventh C-5M In Work

The seventh C-5 to be upgraded to the C-5M Super Galaxy standard was flown to the Lockheed Martin facility in Marietta, Georgia, on 31 May 2011. After undergoing the Reliability Enhancement and Re-engining Program, or RERP, modifications, the aircraft (Air Force serial number 87-0035) is scheduled for redelivery in mid 2012. This C-5, nicknamed Spirit of the Blue Hen is assigned to Dover AFB, Delaware, and will be redelivered there.
