An F-16 from the Turkish Air Force carries an inert AGM-84K SLAM-ER missile in its second separation test on 8 February 2011. SLAM-ER, short for Standoff Land Attack Missile Expanded Response, is a highly adaptable day/night, all-weather, over-the-horizon precision strike missile. The separation tests are part of the 2.5-year Peace Onyx III/IV flight test program being conducted in Fort Worth. Testing is scheduled to conclude in mid 2012.
