F-35B BK-1 First Flight

Lockheed Martin test pilot Bill Gigliotti flew the forty-five minute inagural flight of F-35B BK-1 from NAS Fort Worth JRB on 13 April 2012. BK-1 (serial number ZM135) is the first F-35 produced for the United Kingdom. It is also the first aircraft for an international operator. The aircraft will join other F-35s at the training center at Eglin AFB, Florida, later this year.
