Invincible Spirit Exercise Opens, Part 1

A duo of US Air Force F-22s and F-15s are flanked by a trio of F-16s on the left wing, right wing, and at the lead are flown over a formation of US and Republic of Korea Navy ships during the combined alliance maritime and air readiness exercise called Invincible Spirit on 25 July 2010. The exercise in the seas east of the Korean peninsula is the first in a series of joint military exercises that will occur over the coming months. Exercise Invincible Spirit will run through 28 July.
