F-16s And Colombian Kfirs

Air National Guard F-16 pilots from the 169th Fighter Wing at McEntire Joint National Guard Base, South Carolina, flew alongside Colombian Air Force pilots assigned to the 111th Combat Squadron flying Kfir C7 fighters,. The formation flight, over Rionegro, Colombia, on 12 August 2014, was part of Relampago 2014. Relampago (Spanish for Lightning) is a combined air cooperation engagement with the Republic of Colombia. One hundred Airmen and six F-16s from the United States participated in the first major joint-air training opportunity under the auspices of the South Carolina National Guard's State Partnership Program with the country of Colombia.
