Two To 4K

Lt. Col. Scott Bridgers and Col. David Meyer, pilots with the 157th Fighter Squadron, the South Carolina Air National Guard unit at McEntire ANGB, both passed the 4,000 flight hour mark in the F-16 on their current deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Bridgers reached the milestone during an armed overwatch sortie covering troops in contact on 2 June 2012. Meyer passed the mark during a flight on 7 July 2012. They are the third and fourth South Carolina ANG F-16 pilots to reach 4,000 flight hours.
