Ramstein Deployment Wraps Up

US Air Force C-130J aircrews and maintainers from Ramstein AB, Germany, wrapped up a sixty-day deployment to Powidz AB, Poland, on 25 August 2014. During the deployment, 37th Airlift Squadron crews, along with Polish Air Force C-130 crews, conducted low-level flight training at improved and unimproved landing zones (such as this grass strip landing) as well as conducting operations with US Army and NATO units for cargo airdrops and personnel jumps. Aircrews flew a total of 150 missions, accounting for more than 330 flight hours, during the deployment.
