Christopher Mackenzie, age 30, and Kevin Woyjeck, 21, were members of the nineteen-member Granite Mountain Hotshot crew that was overrun while battling the Yarnell fire near Prescott, Arizona, on 30 June. After getting approval from the Secretary of Defense, an aircrew from the 146th AW transported the bodies of the two California natives home. The 146th AW is one of four ANG and Air Force Reserve command C-130 units involved in aerial firefighting with the Modular Airborne Firefighting System.
