The first production C-5M Super Galaxy is towed into inspection stands at Stewart ANGB, New York, on 7 October 2010. Aircraft maintainers from the 105 Airlift Wing are performing an annual inspection that incorporates restoration work to the inspection program. This Total Force effort consisting of Air Guard, Air Force Reserve Command, and active duty personnel as well as civilian contractors will result in a new interior standardization and a new look for this aircraft. Eventually, the entire C-5 fleet will receive the new gray interior.
